- Since April of this year I have been using tgWebSolutions.com for my web development services. This better represents the nature of my business as I now have 2 other developers working full time for me.

- tppAJAX continues to be a very useful and much used tool for the large web applications I'm writing.
- I've been using CodeIgniter for nearly a year now and absolutely love it. Everyone on staff here have CodeIgniter experience so if you have a project that needs experienced CodeIgniter devs, please request a quote!

- ThePhpPro.com is no longer a "one-man-band." Dwight Brown has recently come on board - between the two of us (I'm looking to add another coder as soon as I can find one that meets my high standards) we have well over 15 years of PHP coding experience! Both Dwight and I have worked in professional software development organizations in the past. Dwight is one of the few programmers I've had the pleasure of knowing who has a good combination of the following attributes: sharp, extremely fast, humble, and friendly!
- AJAX is the name of the game. I've been putting in a bunch of hours over the last months on a really cool AJAX web application. Wish I could show it to you! (Pesky NDA's!) :)
- Due to the work I've done with AJAX, I've created some new features for tppAJAX and will be releasing a new version soon. Soon after that I will release version 2.0 of tppAJAX that will be totally revamped as a re-write into fully object oriented Javascript - much more powerful with the ability to hook into the changing states on the XHR object. This should make it easier to do a loading indicator or to block other actions in your script while the communication is occuring!
- I've started working with the CodeIgniter application framework recently - it's pretty slick. I'll let you know how it works out - maybe it would be something to use on your next project!

- I quit my day job in May! 5/11/2007 was my last day working full time for someone else. Now I work overtime for myself!
- I have been working on many different types of projects, and one new skill I've picked up is Coldfusion. If you're in the market for a decent (I've only been doing it since February!) Coldfusion programmer, I would love to hear the details of your project.
- I've been doing some AJAX development recently and am ready to tackle small to medium sized AJAX projects.
- If you're a current customer, please consider using my contact form to send me a testimonial for the site!

- I am now the lead programmer for WordPressSuperInstaller and have just helped Randy release version 2 of his awesome script.
If you have WordPress needs please contact me as I love working with WordPress! - Speaking of WordPress, I have released a WordPress plugin that creates unlimited custom sidebar widgets without programming!

Two new products soon to be released. On November 3rd The Php Pro will be releasing our PHP AJAX toolkit. At only $40 $20 (price subject to change) it will be like our other scripts: inexpensive, (but never cheap), robust, clever and easy to use.
Shortly thereafter we will be releasing a new guestbook application. How does this sound, "Secure, AJAX-enhanced website guestbook"
It will have an installer to make installation a breeze, and will incorporate our ASCII CAPTCHA product to help keep the evil-doers at bay. With support for a "naughty words" filter, and a moderated mode, it does a great job of keeping trash out of your guestbook.

We've sold a lot of tppCaptcha scripts! And it's not surprising since it's such a GREAT value! There are plenty of scripts left over, so get yours. If we run low, don't worry - we'll make more. ![]()
There are now installation instructions available online for this script.
We've added a new script (tppAsciiArtFont) that is similar, and uses the same font engine as our fine tppCaptcha product. tppAsciiArtFont can be used for displaying any text in an ASCII font.
One suggested use is for displaying email addresses on web pages in a format that spamming email address harvesters can't read.

The site now has a new design. It should be easier to navigate also as it now features bread-crumb navigation!
There are a few new images around the site also.
We're getting ready to polish our AJAX code into a package that will be available for sale. Like our other scripts, it will be inexpensive, (but never cheap) clever and easy to use.

We just released our first PHP script for sale! It is a CAPTCHA script that uses ASCII art instead of images!
For web site hosting I recommend - www.bluehost.com

Tim is fast, sharp, and professional. He is great at communication and better at coding! I definitely expect to work with him again.
